About Me
I have been in practice for over ten years now, treating diverse populations with diverse needs. I found my passion in 2018 after gaining employment at an agency where my focus was treating marginalized communities, namely the LGBTQIA+ community.
Through my own self discovery and the experiences that I have gained in my career, I have also found myself drawn to exploring and understanding how the foundation of our childhood impacts how we live and function in the present moment. Many of us exist within a dysregulated nervous system and I have learned how many folks cloak themselves in shame because of this.
The passion in my work exists within challenging this shame, and learning how to regulate our nervous system in a loving and affirming manner. Safety is such an important component in our lives, and when we are able to have an internal sense of safety, life can feel much more manageable.
I primarily work with adults, 18+, and offer both telehealth and in person sessions.
